Select Simulated Element

To access this screen:

  • Optimization task bar >> Risk Assessment >> Import Data.

Geological Risk Assessment (GRA) allows for easy import of conditional simulation data from Datamine and Medsystem. Import from other applications requires going through Data Source Driver screens. The simulation data is assumed to be in the same model that was previously imported to build an Economic Model.

To select an element for geological risk assessment:

  1. Display the Select Simulated Element screen.

  2. Use the uppermost selection list to select the element, for example [AU0], whose simulated grades are available in the geological model.

  3. Next, choose which fields of the selected model are loaded:

    • Choose Load fields with prefix if you are importing from a Datamine or Medsystem source file. For example, enter 'AU' if the simulated grade fields are AU0, AU1, AU2 and so on.

      • By default, Load all fields with this prefix is selected, but you can limit the import to a fixed number of fields by selecting Load first and specifying the maximum fields to be imported.

    • Choose Let me choose the fields to display the full set of Data Source Drivers screens, to let you constrain the fields to be imported.

  4. Click OK to either load the model file, or display the Data Import screen and corresponding driver screens to complete the import (press F1 on any screen for more information).

On completion of import, the GRA Data Import Report displays showing element distribution parameters and average grades per simulation.
